the company im at offers free flu shots if you want to get one, they bring in a doctor for a day to give people the shot, but nobody is pressed for taking it or not taking it.

Ive had the flu only once. Ive had a flu vaccine only once. By some strange happenstance, i got the vaccine, and then got the flu! Only got it because i worked in a hospital and it was mandatory

I had to get it (and five other shots) just to take a training class. No shot, no job in my desired field.

Got horribly sick with the flu for the first time ever after that. Never again.

1. If you don't already, start taking 5,000 iu's of Vit D3 daily. Year round!

2. Print out numerous independant studies demonstrating that Vit D3 is MORE effective at preventing flu than flu shots.

3. Print out last years's CDC report that the 2018 flu vaccine was only 9% effective.

when they do something "for free", one should question what they are getting out of it..

It’s common. They think that the $15 they pay for the shot will save them in lost man hours from you not getting it.

My company pays me to not get a flu shot. (another perk of being self employed)

if you come in contact with the unwashed masses during the hiliday cold n flu season, you may get sick. if you cant be a good little drone during the busiest time of the shopping year, your a broken cog in the mackine... if your dead tho, they get a HUGE pay-out while your fam gets nothing.. take the shot goy!

Corporations only ever do anything for money.

The vaccine company is part of a non-profit that lobbies Corporations and gives them kick-backs in excess of $15 for each person who gets their $250 shot.

This is very common. At larger companies it is common for them to hire a nursing service to come to the workplace and do free flu shots for a couple of hours to anyone who wants one. The reason is because viruses like the flu can cause enough lost productivity for the business that it is much less expensive to just give everyone a free flu vaccine. People don't like to use up sick days actually being sick so they come into work as long as they can and that's when they're contagious and it spreads to other people.

Never had a flu shot. Never will get a flu shot.
