Looking for articles/proof on when the internet was taken down to wipe WL files ( conspiracy )

Remember when most of the entire internet was shut down?

Remember what happened just before? WL deadman switch files were widely spread.

Servers came back up either missing those files or having the torrents corrupted/replaced.

Now I can't seem to find a single article mentioning this. I know it happened.

Please help me gather some evidence. This one can't be allowed to go down the memory hole!!

It wasn't taken offline entirely but they knew where the main body of those files were, on an AT&T datacenter.

This was a global phenomenon, rolling internet "brownouts" across the globe, one section at a time. Nobody remembers that? I remember having news articles on it that BLEW people's minds until I lost that hard drive.

It wasn't 100% at the same time like flipping a main breaker. It was large sections in a rolling blackout. It was big news, then it was hard to find much about it, and now it's all but gone. Worked I.T. for decades so I was quite aware.
