He's just an actor and he faked his death. Politics are fake and gay. He didn't oppose secret societies he was part of them.

This quote is often interpreted to mean secret societies like the freemasons. I think he was referring to groups within the government that make oaths to each other and who plot to undermine American society and others.

While this may very well be freemasons, I don't think that is what he meant.
