The public appears so easily distracted by shiny new things that they may well get away with it. What is interesting is that when it is discussed it is seen as a joke that he didn't kill himself rather than a serious abuse of power enacted to protect pedophiles. Exactly. I keep telling people that phrase has turned into a tired joke and we need something a little more thought provoking. Let the sheeple distract themselves with the "suicide" conspiracy, so they dont look too deep.
