Mayor Pete's father was born in Malta in 1947. Malta has the highest concentrations of "Buttigiegs" in the world and the family has a long history on the Island, which was once governed by the successors to the Knights Templar, the Knights Hospitallers, now known as the Knights of Malta.

As Google continues to Censor, and Wikipedia continues to rewrite history, one can probably correctly conclude that the Buttigiegs are one of those families that fall into the Conspiracy Circle of Suspicion, thus Making Mayor Pete un-electable to an office of greater Stature than the Mayor of South Bend.

There are a couple of possibilities as to how and when the Buttigeig Ancestral family made its way to the strategically crucial Isle of Malta.

The Buttigiegs may well have been some of the Island's original residents or they may have arrived as the Teutonic knights after the Ottoman Sultan forced the Knights of Rhodes from the Levant in the 15th Century, many of whom settled in Malta.

The Buttigiegs may well Sephardic Jews who fled the Spanish Inquisition to Malta, Holland, and Instanbul. Or they may be able to trace their roots to "the Marrano", the Crypto-Jews who converted to Catholicism but still practiced Judiasm in Secret.

Some sources are pointing towards a significant Turkish Component in the family tree of the Buttigieg family tree. The name itself sounds more Turkish than Sicilian. Wikipedia claims Buttigieg is of Sicilian/Arabic origin, but there does not seem to have been any Buttigiegs in Sicily.

The Marranos of Turkey have an interesting history. As highly influential merchants, bankers, and advisers to the Ottoman Emperors, they would eventually form the "core" of the "Young Turks"; the reform minded Political Group that ousted the Sultan in 1908 and introduced a Constitutional Government to the Turkish People. The Buttigiegs fit the profile of the Young Turks.

Despite their legitimate reforms, the Young Turks would always be viewed suspiciously due to their association with Free Masonic Societies throughout Europe. Their reputation has been further damaged as the likely instigators of the Armenian Genocide from 1914 to 1923.

When the term "Deep State" was coined to describe the security forces of Ataturk in the 1920's, the Young Turks are who the victims of the "Deep State" had in mind. Among the families of the Turkish Deep State, whose influence extended to other European Governments through banking and business interests, were the Rothschilds and Sasoons.

The Sasoons, in particular, were influential in encouraging the Opium Wars as key traders in the Poppy growing industry. Growing Poppy's for misery and profit is still an important business for some families so it is not surprising to find Pete Buttigeig in Afghanistan protecting the Poppy Fields while wearing the insignia of NATOs Afghanistan Threat Force Cell (ATFC).
