Medical school curriculum and Law school are my biggest issues and if you want money generally you earn it by working not going to get it handed to you for a Diploma. Manufacturing, Construction, Logistics, Teaching and Nursing are generally safe areas of employment.

Someone should say where "home schooled" individuals can get a decent job ..you need a high school matriculation certificate to gain a metal or building trades apprenticeship, as well you don't get past the door in any mechanical, computing science or technical classification without a university degree.

While you won't enter any university or tertiary institution similarly sans matriculation .. which is why aliens who completed their studies in foreign countries have been brought into the US to man jobs Americans just don't have the qualifications to get.

Presidents Reagan and Carter were the villains of the piece, who signed legislation that dismantled the US free education system which was the best in the world, whence teachers had to pass stringent examinations where after they had a job for life.

The education system was a mess way before Reagan and Carter, that's for sure. As for home schooling, it works as long as you have proactive parents making sure the kids are learning what they need to know.

As for the video, I'm the guy in the video, and I do state that a high school degree is a must. The most important thing to remember though, people have to be literate in their natural language as well as math, the rest they can learn as they please.

I was an incorrigible failure at school I could not grasp the concept of degrees .. one day when I was fourteen the teacher asked if I knew what the class was about, I said "I wouldn't have a effen clue" and they said there is no sense you being here then "get off the site."

It was passed on down to me days later that if I ever went back to the school "it would be a matter for the police," the coppers turned up anyway and told me firstly to "get out of the house" and then to "get off the property," .. homeless I made my way around the country and eventually joined the Army and served in the Vietnam War .
