Thinking the same thing, glad I'm the only one who does what I do there.

Yep. This was the plan.

Tiz a great way for the Goobernut to be the saving grace when people start their crying and usher in a furthered socialist society because of perceived need. It makes me wonder when Killary will step in with her fantastical lies and deceptions. Be wary of any Goob relief plans.

Anyone that can be sent home to work remotely doesn't really have an important job. Maybe companies will realize that and a ton of middle management and office staff will be cut and over head cost reduced.

not true, programmers are important and can work from home.

our physical presence is not what we sell.

Mostly though, I agree with you... for most people.. its true.

There is always work. It is just a matter of over regulation. We will likely be put back 5 or so years.

I'm in service industry and I think this may be the end of it unless you are a bartender.

Old saying that bars and churches are the last to go in a town.

The resturrants and mom and pop stores will die from lack of income- big stores will survive and gobble up market share. Small companies will die for the same reason and mega corps will clean out their competition.... low wage workers will end up with College Level credit card debt.

Its a HUGE expansion of big biz and debt whatever happens with the wu-flu

When the restrictions in China happened, my first thought was similar to your comment... a bonus for the Chinese oligarchs. I'm not saying the virus was planned, but they're taking advantage of the situation to shut-down the open-air markets and small stores to replace them with franchises.

I watched the recent Joe Rogan podcast with that infectious control expert and he even alluded to this, and the guy was quite a realist.

Yeah, I'm not saying you're right, but I'm not saying you're wrong either.
