Therefore, you are only valuable as a human being if you have permission to be. 'Murica.

Maybe attributing this to this particular story is a little bit of a stretch, but this is the general vibe of life in the US and taking nine to ten months to correct something like this is ridiculous. I hope he sues, and I hope the result is so strong that whatever agent is responsible for this can never again afford to buy socks. Food, sure, but socks are forbidden. No socks for you.
