Our "ally" has no compunctions about weaponizing "science" to protect their version of 'history'.

I have my own theory, to wit:

"Something" that occurred during the dim past in 'Mesopotamia', if brought to public consciousness, would completely destroy the whole Abrahamic Fairytale Narrative . That 'something', in the eyes of our "democratic ally in the Middle East™", justified sending their U.S. Golem on a side-mission in Iraq, to either:

1. Confiscate that 'evidence', or

2. Bury and pave over 'inconvenient' history .

And note I said "side mission". The destruction of Iraq as a coherent "nation" was always the primary goal.
