Shower thought: What if the current 4G transmitters are already weaponized, but since they are of Chinese origin, they need to be replaced. What if the move by Trump is to upgrade existing 4G with American/Western 5G to remove control of these weapons?

Yes. I've worked in RF for 10+ years. The 60Ghz band (aka 5G) is not much different than the current 2.45ghz used now. You can just fit more data in it.. and it travels shorter distances.

People are freaking out about it "ionizing air" or something. Well; Most microwave ovens use ~2.5ghz at a high power level (like 1000 watts, in a small cavity) to work/cook. They do this work be oscillating molecules, creating heat.. If you remove the cavity, the oven would not be very effective as the energy would just disperse in all directions.

The spec for 60ghz by the FCC has the max power for an emitter to be something like 50 watts? (But It depends on the jurisdiction and usage). Regardless, it is not enough power to do much of anything harmful to you short term.. If anything you would notice the emitter would be warm.

I have a 60ghz setup for a virtual reality headset. The antenna actually makes an audible noise and gets a little warm... but that is it.

The stuff I've messed with at work is just the same, but maybe at way higher power levels that would make the FCC cry. As far as I can tell, am not dead from it yet.

But as with a highpower AM/FM Transmitter, and a high power Cell Tower... being directly next to a high power emitter, is not very advisable for long.

That's retarded. The only similarity is the word "corona," which means "crown." The virus looks like a crown under a microscope and corona discharge resembles a glowing crown around a charged object. Whoever wrote this shit doesn't understand anything about electricity. 5G antennas don't even produce a corona discharge.
