But there are two FE's, FE + FE, or FE2+, the type of iron that is in the hemoglobin in your blood. The Covid-19 virus kills people by displacing the iron in their hemoglobin with it's own protein. The hemoglobin then can't carry oxygen without the iron and your lungs swell up in vain trying to take in more O2.
