In 2016, After years of investigation by forensic experts, Sheriff Joe Arpaio presents 9 conclusive points of evidence that Barack Obama's birth certificate, as presented by the White House, was forged .

Obama was no longer president, but the people responsible for the forgery have never been exposed and are likely still in positions of influence. Following the trail of that forgery would certainly lead to important people.

Arpaio's critics admitted they didn't even bother looking at the evidence:

Wikipedia says the theory has been "debunked numerous times" . Yet Wikipedia's debunking is from 2010, six years before Arpaio provided his proof.

It's like saying tobacco's link to cancer has been "debunked" because mainstream physicians endorsed tobacco in the early days so there's no need to look at evidence that has been provided since then.

Arpaio passed the information on to congress for further investigation. If there were any in Congress who were sympathetic, their voices were never heard. Nothing has ever been done.
