NOT CGI

Hmmmm_m

Space, the final shoah.

one of the cgis from years ago showed elon musk's car in space and the green screen went out..

Elon even said about another video 'you know it's a real space shot, because it looks so fake'

The parachutes definitely look CGI to me with the slow "waves" that occur near the bottoms looking blocky. Also the capsule goes from clearly in focus while in the air to suddenly far away and somehow just on the horizon line of the ocean as it hits the water-- slow it down for that part and you'll see how the entire camera view seems to dramatically change focus even though supposedly the camera is just panning down until the capsule hits the water. You see the motorboats riding out towards it, and everything gets wavy and out of focus, and the camera cuts before they get anywhere close to the ship.

This looks about as real as any other NASA and SpaceX fakery-- good enough to fool those who believe, but not holding up to closer scrutiny.

Everything you write describes exactly how the atmosphere behaves at sea-level. The image is wavy close to the surface, because there is a layer of air convection caused by the temperature difference between the sea and the temperature of the air above it. You can look at any zoom lens photo done at sea-level looking out to the horizon during a warm summer day, and see exactly the same thing.

So everything being wavy and out of focus is exactly how it should look. If it wasn't looking like that, it would be out of the ordinary, as it only happens when the air and sea temperatures match precisely along the line of sight.

The image is in focus at higher altitudes, because the temperature of the air is uniform at higher altitudes.

If, for example, you photograph the moon at zenith, you will always get a better shot than when photographing it at the horizon, because at the horizon you will get atmospheric distortion, just like in this video. Same goes for photographing any far away objects at the horizon. And if the temperature difference is big enough, you can even get a mirage, like this one .

The only thing real about the space program, is all the money Israel gets the milk out of every country that participates. Pretty much any country that signed the Antarctica treaty.
