Carbon fiber hull and wing structures are being used to build the latest passenger and military planes.

did you learn about how the gyros work on the globe earth?

whatisbestinlife

cities pay google to monitor growth in their cities. they overlay the maps and snitch out anyone who added on to their home without a license. theres a second company that does 24 hour surveillance with a 48 hour backup of all thermal activity in the city. want to see who broke that window? just watch on the camera and find out where he left from. the resolution is ever increasing too.

Why not encourage cheaper, clunkier solar that gives you more energy return for the dollar?

Because it already exists

Why not use solar capture to preheat water to reduce water heating costs

Because this too already exists and is in very wide use.

By definition is not an "advancement" if it's old tech already widely in use.

Light-weight lithium-surfer batter cells? Why not use the gasoline

Gasoline instead of a battery? Like for my phone? Battery advancement is mostly geared for cell phones.

Why not electrify the roads

Oh my God, that would never ever work. Both because of road taking so much abuse and that you want cars to work independently from the road

grading surfaces and maintaining and pouring asphalt is actually really expensive, more expensive than wire

Yes, it's expensive. Now multiply it by a lot because every crack in the road breaks some wires and you can't just fill it anymore - you have to redo that part. Also, wires that can handle this many cars will be huge and expensive.

Hydrogen isn't even good for the environment.

Yes it is.

To obtain it you have to burn electricity that needs power plants

Yup, which are (a) far away from cities (so less pollution in areas where people live) and (b) much more efficient than car engines (and getting greener all the time)

Also, hydrogen is not a replacement for energy production, it's a replacement for batteries (energy storage)

I could go on, but virtually everything you wrote is nonsense.

You're confusing having no knowledge with having "insight no one else ever thought of".

You literally know nothing and think you're an expert

Gorgon Stare.

I don’t think they use quadcopters, but bigger airplane drones flying in circles.

fusir

Yeah, quadcopters are inefficient. The longest duration flights aren't quad copter. But if you do need a quad copter for whatever reason and you want it to stay up a long time, hydrogen is what they are using. There isn't a way to get solar to power something as power hungry as a quad copter, and a battery able to store 15 hours of flight would be too heavy to get off of the ground.

That's why hydrogen and quads are a pairing.

In the Santa Clara valley in commifornia, they have a helicopter loitering over most cities now, with a stabilized high res camera pod on it. They rotate out in shifts.
