Do you know any other reason why Disney would buy it?

They're media jews. They buy media ip's so they can control it. They also purchased the rights to King Of The Hill when they bought 20th century fox. Disney has no in rebooting KOTH even though it's been a huge success in syndication and the creators have expressed interest in rebooting it. Hank Hill is too much of an everyman and the show too often lampooned the far far left wing causes that disney has been pushing as often as they can recently.

Didn't the x-files reboot gut the myth-arc of the original show and replaced it with some bullshit? I can't even remember right now. I think it bothered me enough that I didn't even watch all the reboot episodes.
