Wow. That was very interesting. I live in Eastern Europe, an area that some 200 years ago was known as the "Pale of Settlement" for Jews (there was a lot of them here). I remember hearing stories from my grandparents as a kid, about how Jews use the blood of non-Jewish children to make their flatbread called "Matzo". At that time, I dismissed all of this as another folk tale, a remnant of the past (there are not many Jews left after WWII where I live and I don't know any). This "folk tale" was so widespread that literally everyone knew it. It was literally in the folklore of our country. I don't hear it that much nowadays though. Inspired by this video, I looked up this "prejudice" online, and, fair enough, some 10 years ago it was ruled as "antisemitic" by a court decision. You can't mention "Matzo" and "blood" in the same sentence anymore... I never knew that other countries in Europe have dealt similar stuff in the past... I guess you should always listen to what your elders are saying.
