Intelligent people are centrists and agnostics. They base their reasoning on rationality and objectivity. Otherwise, you get brainwashed by opposing factions with ideologies made of absurdism and subjectivity. Political and religious ideologies are made to divide and conquer the weak minded and ignorant people. Ideologies are based on reasonable concepts and developed to absurd levels. People are asked to blindly follow ideologies without ever questioning their authors.
