Zuck spouted multiple times that Facebook was blocking "hate". He cheated the question, by saying Facebook editing was using their standards, not the law. If he was ever accused of lying, he would argue it was "hate and note 'hate speech" he was referring to. Either way, he is no longer a bulletin board but a news source. Therefore all company Directors are legally liable for the actions of the company.
