"Israel" is both the good guy and the bad guy here. Bad because of the Zionist state and good because the ideals of the US Constitution originate with ten commandments, which are central to the law of the nation of Israel. The U.S. is aligned with Zionism because the US is, by name, a federation of states just like the Jewish state in Palestine is.
