if the airline industry gets 20 billion -- i'll take 2 grand... no problem. i have no issue with this. in fact, i insist. and if you don't want your 2 grand... give it to someone who needs it.

CaptThorazine

And this is how welfare slavery begins.

He kinda looks like a lesbo

Rockfish1000

Notice how they never just go and DO the things they advocate other people to be forced to do?

CaptThorazine

So true. They are always very generous with our money.

SkrutinizeYou

I told some co-workers that the stimulus will probably be deducted from their tax-returns next year. it was satisfying to watch them slowly realize money doesn't grow on trees.

user0451

Only if it's coming out of his bank account.

ardvarcus

Accurate title. They want to turn us all into niggers.

AlternateSelection

I could damn sure use the money.

veteran88

Better than giving it to Israel.

People who have been fucked by this fake virus could use some breathing room.

Yuke

Breathing room in the short-term, priming for a Universal Basic Income in the long-term. This is a great way to get people used to the idea. Pretty soon, if they can keep this virus thing going, people will be so scared and feel so vulnerable financially they'll jump at the idea of guaranteed income, even if it's much lower than their usual, because their usual is 'unreliable'. All manufactured. In fact "manufacturing consent" is exactly what is happening here. There are many ways to make people do something, but the most successful are the ones in which people think they are making those decisions themselves and not being corralled, or tricked, into making them; which, of course, they are.

Rockfish1000

I think the whole Q thing is the same kind of psyop. Manufacturing consent for one group to take over the Deep State from another group, and getting "conservatives" to go along with it through Trump re-election propaganda.

grendelbiter

Exactly. The mark will be a choice, and many people will choose it because it will seem like the best choice.

Or we could just remove taxes from anyone making X amount of money, encouraging them to make more money. Like let's do the math here, with how everyone is taxed you lose 33% of your earned income due to taxes. So at 14/hr you are pretty much making 11/hr. so you miss out on 5760, and "keeping" 21k give or take for insurance and such.

So why not instead of saying we're gonna give you free money, in this case 24k we instead say, you will not be taxed until you reach that treshold basically, you encourage workers to want to make a stronger living wage and deserve that money instead of taxing them and by doing do you give them better morals to stand on

Basically this would mean that taxing your income wouldn't start til you make about 72k+ over a year, so the moment you hit past that 24k buffer you start to get taxed on the wages you make over 72k, so if you make 90k, you are taxed for 18k, meaning you are taxed 6k/yr. If you make 400k you are taxed for 328k and pay 108k/yr but you still have 220k.

I mean sure there may be some flaws in this idea but I do think that if we wanted to find a way to punish those who give themselves excessive salaries this would be one way to do it, by taxing the fuck out of people who make way to much money.

assuming you still have a job (40 Million US Citizens have lost their jobs in the last 6 months during the #lockdown).

for everyone else, the extra minimal cash is critical.

FortyFourFore

and yet what the sheep don't understand is that this is all it'll do. people get 2k "free" money every month, guess what, everything is magically 500/week more expensive, if not more. Video games? 120, Movie tickets 50, gas, 5 dollars, they will just find ways to increase the price of products using the stimulus as an excuse.

Just look at how EBT cards are exploited, they are suppose to be designed to give families the means to obtain ingredients for them to make their won food but corporations have found ways to bypass the limitation as long as the food is not "cooked" it's not considered EBT inelligible, and even then precooked is ok because of precooked food you can pick up at the market. AKA grilled chicken, breaded chicken that comes in frozen and is used to make sandwiches can be used because it's precooked and if someone with EBT can purchase precooked frozen food, they can buy precooked ingredients that just happen to be shaped like a sandwich. The shit pisses me off.

If you're getting excited over $2,000 you're a nigger. Mark Cuban the billionaire knows this. He probably has his personal nigger wipe his ass for him everyday and laughs about how desperate you niggers are for that money.

Make1984FictionAgain

This is literally what i make every two weeks (okay $1600) but I'm out getting up early in the morning, working 8 hours a day while unemployed do fuck all and get the almost the same amount as me. So is work for the suckers or what? fuck this country.

CaptThorazine

The worst part is that inflation will lower the standard of living for people who do work. Its like an automatic pay cut.

Make1984FictionAgain

I'm literally fucking done.

2020-09-25 | Mark Cuban calls for $1,000 stimulus checks every two weeks through November - CNN

'Mark Cuban is once again pushing the idea that every American household should receive $1,000 bi-weekly stimulus checks for the next two months. '

'"The whole goal is to get that money every two weeks into the economy," Cuban said. '

'President Donald Trump urged the GOP to "go higher" in a tweet last Wednesday regarding a deal on coronavirus stimulus payments. ', "Yang's proposal promised $1,000 a month or $12,000 a year for all US citizens over the age of 18."

'But with Congress in a stalemate, there are no signs that American households will be receiving a second wave of stimulus anytime soon. '
