From the point of view of the feds and the media controlled by them, the Oath Keepers are "domestic terrorists" because they actually intend to protect and defend the ideals of justice and freedom associated with the US and not the big brother state that it has become.

Last year during Ferguson 1.0 they protected businesses from looters.

Back then the media wanted to keep quiet about them because it contradicted the narrative that whites should be terrified and beg for more police state.

This year they were unable to suppress news of them.
