I disagree with this article. I had a sister who had scizophrenia and we eventually took her to an orthomolecular psychiatrist (see Abram Hoffer's work). She took megadoses of B3 and maintained a normal lifestyle until she passed from breast cancer. The article talks about magnesium reversing the side effects from the very strong psychotropic drugs used for mental disorders. I believe you shouldn't even use those.
I also used essential oils to control and diminish my son's bi-polar condition and he is doing fine. Brain disorders are just like any other illness...something is wrong with the organ...it just manifests in a mental state that can be very unsettling.

You don't have to agree but this is my experience and what I used to deal with the brain disorders we have had in our family. I have studied these things extensively and concluded that nobody cared about my family member as much as I did so I had to make decisions based on the best outcome for the person involved.

I didn't blindly accept what the traditional medical community told me. There are many alternative therapies used to treat mental disorders that are safe and will put you on the road to recovery.

yes there are some people that are brain damaged that act crazy but there is no magical disease with no scientific basis called shizophrenia.
