Everyone is developing new weapons. Turkey, Russia, Iran, China. This is not fucking news.

Anyone surprised by the fact that China has a military is too dumb to be NATO chief.

They made a sub that managed to pop up in the middle of a US battle group that was on exercises. Obviously they have some stuff that works.

Remember that the Chinese effectively defeated NATO in the Korean war. That was when China was rural and lacked major manufacturing capability. They could easily handle most countries now, and in 50 years they will be the dominant military power in the world.

Also worth noting that 50% of America's STEM PhD graduates are from China. America was dumb enough to train its rivals, give Chinese jobs in US firms, give Chinese citizenship.

No proper nation would be stupid enough to train foreign nationals and let them take key jobs like that.
