Fuck it, make the kid cool and call them Gnutella. They can say their parents worked on GNU.

A couple who wanted to call their daughter Fraise (Strawberry) which a judge also ruled could result in the child being teased. The baby instead was renamed Fraisine, a name popular in the 19th century

That's bad. Fraise could be a beautiful name. Of course the child could be teased. So what? If it's a beautiful and apt name it should be overlooked.

lain and Sophia Renaud in 1999 fended off legal action to prevent them from naming their daughter Megane, even though local authorities said it sounded too much like a car

The Mégane is one of the most famous Renault car models so yeah... It falls within the stated purpose of the law.

I don't particularly support this law. I've lived in Brasil and people name their children any name they want. They dont pick bad names. What happens is commercial companies pay parents to name their children the name of the company. But these are isolated cases AFAIK.

I met a Mozart and a Kennedy. Cool kids.
