I just think you really cannot have two masters and masons seem pretty much like a religion and one that discards tradition for progress and rational thought. I dont think “rational thought” leads to a strong culture with good morals. Its a slippery slope.

The truth is, there really aren’t absolute truths when it comes to morals. That is why muslims think they are ultra moral but they fuck 9 year olds.

Our cultures form religions through which we decide which behaviors are evil and good. The process through which we determine what is evil or not evil is not a rational one. It is a thought process that has conferred survival— it’s useful evolutionarily speaking. But it isn’t rational.

If you try to use your “rational” mind to determine right from wrong you will inevitably find yourself on the slippery slope, and before you know it, you’re watching the homo parade march down your street every june.

Masons seem to have this flaw in their philosophy. Admittedly I don’t know exactly what they believe since they are a secret society, but I sense this is their drift.

I dont really think they are satanists or anything wacky like that.

Im sure you are a very empathetic person. I just feel that as atheists ( and I assume you are one ) we often say shit like “I don’t need the threat of hell to be a good person.” But we live in a christian culture, we have christian values. That is why we don’t accept polygamy and fucking 9 year olds. Its not because we are all very good people. We are still running on the fumes of christianity in the west but those fumes are getting pretty thin, so we see all this degeneracy especially from the most atheist precincts of the country. I think people need to be threatening with non-consuming hellfires every so often. Look at how arrogant and corrupt the upper class has become. You will argue they were always thus. But I think upper class corruption is super charged now that no people in positions of power fear god.
