You must be new to the world, or you're watching too much TV. That said, I'll assume that you are honest and really don't know, in that case, do some research. You will find out that it was a banking scam, i.e., governments bailed out banks and transferred all that bad debt to the people. Anyone that thinks the money went to the Greek people is stupid. Don't be stupid.

You're only looking at it superficially. Banks and governments loaned money to the Greek people through their government because they asked us to. After we loaned them the money they started bitching and moaning about being unable to pay it back. The debt's been cut twice now and they've had three bailouts. The Greeks are just greedy slime who want to spend other people's money and who don't wan't to take responsibility for their own actions. We should call our loans due and kick them out when they can't pay--let the ungrateful little bitches starve.
