people are generally speaking dumber than bricks. every one has their own bias's and motives, no one is fully honest. online that is multiplied by orders of magnitude, because no one can be held accountable for those things. add to that a societal focus on Psychopathy being a desirable trait for "success" and it should not be a surprise to anyone that these "successful" people are lying manipulative cunts to put it bluntly.

Reddit/voat and all the others are seen as just another tool they can use to try to guide whatever narrative they want.

im still surprised these places have not clamped down even more on trying to stamp out anything that breaks that narrative. instead they have focused more on infiltrating and discrediting these views
