Well...it IS brought up a lot--but these mentions are either downvoted into oblivion (on ReddactIt) or forum-slid to the end of the comments.

This was EASY data to confirm--a simple search of VAERS by a physician friend (this blew his mind, BTW) confirmed it.

Looks to me that it's far, far better if my child actually did contract measles and gained lifelong immunity than if they received the MMR. It's pretty clear which is more deadly--by the CDC's own admission.

tl;dr: VAERS data reveals that nobody has died from measles in more than ten years...while at least 108 deaths reported in VAERS during the same time frame have been conclusively linked to measles vaccines. Please remember, also, that VAERS captures only a very small percentage of the actual number of injuries and deaths associated with measles vaccines.

Did you know that the PATRIOT Act had yet another little-known clause slipped in at the last minute? This clause indemnifies pharmaceutical companies from lawsuits/damages brought against them as a result of vaccine injuries or deaths. Interesting, no? So, if your child dies from the MMR, as many have, you cannot sue Merck for monetary damages, and they will NOT settle out-of-court with you...instead they will steer you to "vaccine court" where your chances of winning a settlement that will even pay for the funeral and hospital bills is exceptionally slim.
