I certainly hope all the SJW hypocrites drive everyone off and they're left with a boring echo chamber that no one else cares about anymore, but in reality I know that it would basically take an act of god to get people to stop using Reddit. I quit using Facebook over a year ago and it was easy as fuck to stop using, but Reddit actually serves a purpose outside of just being a place to "hang out" and post on friend's walls. The sheer amount of articles and different sources of information is just too enticing. And the worst part is, is how the comments section use to be the best way to get a good grasp on the story, a way to hear multiple points of views on any subject and be able to formulate your own opinion based on what seems to be the most logical answer. But now, more and more, the comments sections are just becoming unreadable shitfests, where you can't even tell who's shilling who anymore.

Make a platform where people can discuss, it becomes popular because people love to talk, corporate and political forces game the system, power and money attract control freaks, control freaks start shitting up the system, average user grows discontented, shit keeps getting worse until an alternative comes along and the bleeding begins.

When I saw this thread on Reddit earlier I used it as an opportunity to plug Voat. These are the type of occurrences that are driving people away from Reddit and we have a chance to bring all of those people here. I encourage everyone to spread the word, so that the Voat community can grow and ideas can be expressed without blatant censorship.
