I have been posting this story for going on twenty years now. Good to see it's finally gaining traction.

Understand the horrible implications of this: hundreds of millions of people worldwide have died from cancer since this study was effectively banned. When they shut down the research it was clearly understood that this was the risk they were taking but they simply didn't care.

Meanwhile, they had no qualms whatsoever with continuing their promotion of alcohol and tobacco. Even today in some parts of America you can buy cigarettes from a vending machine. Tobacco doesn't even appear in the Controlled Substances Act!

Depriving an enemy soldier medical care is regarded as a war crime. Surely, depriving your own citizenry the same has to be regarded as a crime as well. Why is deliberately scuttling medical research any different?

The death toll of the war on drugs is absolutely mind-boggling. The policy has almost certainly killed more people than all of the war of the 20th century put together.

And the people who to this day continue to promote it rate as the monsters of our time.

If pot really does freeze cancer progression (which I tend to think is likely) then all those people donating to cancer research would have been helping more if they had funded local pot-dealers. I'm not sure why this tickles me so, maybe I just have a dark sense of humor.

Corrupt charities, big pharma, the prison system, and state/federal police are all directly profiting from the criminalization of an herb that might very well extend the lives of hundreds of thousands.

Literally millions of doctors all over the world say it is beneficial but you have admitted that your to thick skulled to read anything about it or hear from them. It has been used for 6000s years in medicine in the eastern world. If you cant take the time to read the information do not start posting about it like you have. You should pick up a history book and read about the actual history behind western medicine and marijuana. If you can't take the time to do that then stop TALKING ABOUT IT. You know nothing and that is clear. The fact that your saying its false while saying at the same time your refuse to read one of the 34 pages of research just proves that your either a) a moron or b) a troll, so which is it?

No you didn't there are over 34 modern studies linked to in the article and your response was

"we should have a fresh look at this. 40 years have passed and we have better scientific tools for evaluating the hypothesis."

We have used modern tools and if you would of read the article like you claim you would of seen 34 modern studies. So either your lying about reading the article or your a troll either way your a joke.

When it comes to marijuana there is only one thing that matters: There is no receptors in the areas of the brain that control the automatic functions of your body like breathing and circulation. So there is no way to overdose on marijuana since it will never shut your body down or overwhelm it.
