Just to give some context;

SRS started on Something Awful.

They came to prominece on reddit due to a raid which was called "project panda"; wherein they created a sub called /r/preteengirls , filled it with CP and then emailed Anderson Cooper about their own sub to draw attention to reddit's jailbait problem.

This was followed up by something called the predditors tumblr, which was also run by the goons from SA, wherein they doxxed the creator of /r/jailbait and /r/creepshots until the former lost his job and the latter started to recieve death threats. That resulted in both users leaving the site.

As a result of the "external pressure" reddit admins shut down /r/jailbait and rewarded SRS with the hands off approach that is seen today as they brigade and attack other subs with impunity.

I'm new to voat, redditor only for a few months. Honestly, i never encountered SRS, and heard only that they are tumblrinas with orange eyes, and when i read their subreddit they only talked about upvotes and downvotes. What are they really? Is SRS their hivemind or is SRS just a name for the ideology?
