We are told these pictures were taken from NASA’s Deep Space Climate Observatory showing the dark side of the moon as it moved in front of the Earth, lit by sunlight.

Funny, the sunlight seems to create a hot spot on the center of the Earth but not on the center of the moon as it passes by…

NASA called this “epic”. You could leave NASA a comment on the official YouTube page for this video, however, the agency curiously disabled all comments.
