Isn't this sort of a Streisand effect? I mean, we know they won a settlement for $750K, so we know there was enough evidence to settle. The claim was the fracking destroyed their farm and contaminated ground water. Sounds like it DID happen and the deep pockets of our elite's energy accumulation departments paid for damage control.

That's a lot harder to do when you have two young children whose safety is a primary concern. Drawn out litigation strains the budget of all except the ultra rich and corporations making the law more equal for people can afford it.

I'm sure there's some cocky environmental lawyer with the incentive to go after the shale corporation. Settlements are like plea bargains, they only benefit the corporation/government. If they didn't, the corporation/government wouldn't agree to them.

Although yea. The court systems are broken in this country and suicide by lemonjuice sounds immensely preferable to spending even a second of my time with such dysfunction.
