You have someone who has never once posted in /r/conspiracy on Reddit, at least not on the account name they use on Voat, who knows how many sockpuppets this individuals has there - but you have this person who has never once participated in this sub there, now here, trying to commit infanticide to /v/conspiracy .

For all you know this Oracle guy could be David Reiss or NoLibs any other number of Conspiracy ankle biting control freaks who now have set their sights on what will eventually be the next Reddit. Assuredly, Axol and Allie aren't perfect, but they are forthright and they have always been outstanding contributors to /r/conspiracy .

To remove them and allow these people who have never even participated in this sub decide who's going to control it is pure folly.

I think this is the only thing brought up by this other individual that I agree with, I would like to see Voat implement a site wide system that allows for moderation transparency, similar to undelete/uncensorship.

Atko said that they have plans for a public log of all moderator action. Obviously it isn't live yet but when it is I think we'll see a stark change in how subs are moderated and how the contributors can respond to that. Without being able to shadowban or moderate in secret moderators will be held to a standard that they weren't at reddit, and that means only good things for the future.

Yeah I'm with transparency running the ship, with a possibility of explanation for why it was deleted and maybe just censoring banned photos but keeping the post and have a flag on it in the post or send to v/undeletesubvoatamajigy

I second this. We can't 100% prevent rot but we sure can slow it down a lot. Transparency is one of those things that slow it down.

I think if you read the comments under my post, you would see that there are a number of people who want to have a moderator discussion, your opinion is not the be all and end all of the subject and frankly that kind of thinking is exactly what I'm worried about with the moderators, if their own personal opinions outweigh the desire of the group.
