They have this false notion that getting rid of her is in conflict with being about free speech. They don't seem to understand that removing those who suppress and censor speech isn't going against it but fighting for it. She's also a typical power mod you don't want running this kind of site period regardless of free speech rules.

I think modding is inherently corrupting. And I don't like the moderation system here or at Reddit. But I also think this guy is an asshole and would be hard to work with. I've hired plenty of people. No fucking way would he get the job after an interview like that.

See this is an argument I don't like. Turning a blind eye is not the solution. It'll be too late once you realize they've taken over. Action needs to be taken. A move needs to be made.

Oh and this is not about "moving" to a different sub - this is about bias moderators abusing they're power and negatively effecting the community, its content, and its comments.

the majority of mods here do not conduct themselves like /u/she and the other mods of /v/askvoat . i don't think that those moderators who do not abuse their 'power' need to be restricted. whatever actions the admins decide to take (if any at all) need to be exercised on a case by case basis.

I left reddit because of this. After coming here, I really appreciated the fact that @Atko and @PuttItOut seemed to have a pulse on the community here. But I’m here now to ask, @Atko , why aren’t you doing something about this? Are you ready to see this site going in the same direction reddit is?

What did you let @she take control of such a large community. Why is any moderator allowed to impart any part of themselves/personality onto the site??

I’m here for the CONTENT and COMMENTS, not the opinions of any mod, or any bias they impart. In fact, that is what drove me away from reddit, and it’s what will drive me away from Voat if this continues.

I voat that we remove all mods from all subverses with over 5,000 subscribers! The mods have shown that they cannot mod without being bias, and for that the users shall not suffer!

The mod’s only job is to remove spam. That’s it!! Shit, I’m willing to wade through a bit of spam for the assurance of knowing I’m not being sold to or controlled by these people. I’m of the belief as well that we won’t get overridden by spam if we remove the mods. I believe that theory is propagated by those who fear their status being taken away from them.
