9th grade, the schools in our area had just received funding for TVs in every classroom, which was under debate the last year or two (somehow, the school can't afford paper yet installs monitors in every room). Accusations of mis-management but nobody cares. Coincidence I'm sure, but I recall all announcements prior to this year to have been delivered on Public Address (PA) speakers.

So school is in for about 2-3 weeks and 9/11 is broadcast-ed to everyone in full effect. Oddly, for my first class the teacher actually turned the news off saying she had a curriculum to teach. All the other classrooms watched the events, but it was only a one hour delay until I saw the videos repeating everything. Every other classroom at the school had the monitors on.

They got me, I was saying "kill Bin Laden" for years. It wasn't until college that I began to understand we were duped - and I mean it's the lie of a century.

The absurdity. I had never seen anything like this event actually unfold and it was awe-inspiring. Of course, you try explaining that when people are crying over the dead.

I was in my 8th grade English class. I laughed out loud when I saw it and got sent to the principal. To this day people call me an edgy try hard for being honest about my reaction. Eh.
