World peace is a joke, war has been around thousands and thousands of years longer than America.

That means 76% don't.......and where I'm from.....that's a solid C.

The US has turned into an interventionist. That's terrible for the world and for the US as well. I even think is much worse for the US citizens since they are the ones footing the bill. They don't have basic first world services like health care but they have drones all over the world. That's a hefty price to pay from the point of view of their citizens. What's in it for them?

The thing is, that america has a reach that is a lot bigger than other countries that meddle with the stability of world regions. For example Russia currently really has effective forces in Eurasia. China has some say for his own nearest neigbours and Africa. France has kind of a bad rep in Africa and some bases in Asia and S-America. UK is kind of a big imperialist as well but lately they just seem to be doing everything together with USA, further adding to the threat of US.

USA however spends more on military than the rest of the world combined, has lots of bases spread out throughout the whole world, has riddiculously powerful spy network that within the last 50 years has caused several coups in every continent, except Antartica. In addition to that The latest wars for oil have given the world an impression that they will gladly go into a war if that gives them some economic advantages.

EDIT: Forgot the smaller, crazier countries........ honestly i would doubt they are willing to do actually something big, if only not for self defence.

And the other 76% are the Chinese just waiting for the day the dragon rises!

The end of the year report in the video is from 2013. For some strange reason the word peace is not even mentioned once in the 2014 report. The overall idea was that people were happier (besides Iraq the most unhappy place on earth, thanks to US intervention). Of course the 2015 year has yet to close but who know what it will say.
