Clarification : Some people suspect that, if permitted, an influx of Syrian refugees could be a pretext for a "terrorist invasion" perpetrated by US intelligence. It will subsequently be blamed on ISIS , considering that the mainstream media is already pointing out at this false risk in premeditation.

Thats an interesting notion actually, but maybe more so for European countries rather than the US... EU is in crIsis <- (pun intended) mode and I could definitely see an 'invisible enemy' scenario as a way to implement more draconian 'emergency' measures.

I think the Syrian refugees are too foreign of an issue to the US for that to happen. I mean, we have Mexican migrants and immigrants walking and driving over the southern border right now, and the US government hasn't used that as a pretext for a terrorist conspiracy let alone immigration taking place clear in Europe.
