The Mass Media and Reddit

This is of cause the same structure in which Reddit has been integrated by Advanced publications after they acquired Reddit. Now Reddit censors and choose what content you are allowed to see, just like CNBC or Fox News does. No need to pretend otherwise.

Yup, I got my ass banned from r/conspiracy for pointing out a post was nothing more than a corporate fluff piece. Ah well.

I noticed it got a post deleted when I reviewed a response from another user, and the post showed up as "deleted", but only when I look at it via the other users response, not my own. Did I finally manage to get kicked from Reddit?
Or did I just enrage a moderator by telling the truth about Reddit and the corporate owned mass media, and got my post deleted!?

You can figure out if you're shadowbanned:

-log in to your reddit acct

-navigate to your user page: https://www.reddit.com/user/ (your username here)

-click logout button

If your account is shadowbanned, the page will return with something like "doesnt seem to be anything here"

If your account is at full privileges, the page will just return with your public profile/comment history.
