Anti TTIP, Belarus and Turkey was in the mainstream media here in Germany (at least in the left leaning news, not sure about others) but India and the Million Man March Ididnt know about before.

There was also another semi major protest event that, while the media did report on it, will not end up on voat most likely: over 25000 rallied at a concert/ demostration event in Munich to promote better treatment of immigrants and more empathy. Take that as you want but it happened...

This is why the media is enemy number one. We cant get anything else done with them in the way. They have more power than any other industry including wall street. They literally control the people and have the power to shut down the conversation.

The part that really kills me about this whole corporate oligarchy thing, is that the American people are directly funding it. Media companies will only produce products that sell. If the people stop paying for it, the companies will stop production.

John Perkins (the author of Confessions of an Economic Hitman) did a podcast interview where he discussed this topic, and he actually offers some advice on how to fight back via your dollar votes. Heres a link to the podcast , I think it's well worth a listen.
