Fascinating. For the lazy, it appears that adopted children, regardless of how much Mozart they hear, are likely to share a similar IQ as their biological parents. This old bearded professor dude claims that his data shows that nurture plays a very minor role in a child's intelligence, even personality, that these things are primarily determined by genetics. I suppose that this has some serious macro-racial implications, as uncomfortable as it may be to admit that... of course, there are always exceptions to the rule, but honestly this is very sad to hear, and I wish it weren't true. I'd like to believe that all humans are equally capable, but clearly that's not the case.
