It's not quite the same as saying that. The police's job is to keep the citizens safe, and when they are killing more people than terrorists, it's pretty clear something is wrong.

Yes, I agree. But if you don't think the police have too much power, you're blind. They kill way too many unarmed Americans with little to no consequence a year. Our police are somehow becoming a military force over the population, and far, far too many people are okay with that. It's utter bullshit that a police officer can even pull a gun on you without you already having a gun out. Let alone shoot you when you are unarmed.
