This whole concept of governments borrowing their own money is 100% a scam. Not to mention that the BOC pays dividends to it's shareholders who include the country's largest private banks. I.e. private banks own a supposedly public currency issuer.

This is the source of most deep state governments. The people don't understand the fraud that is going on here because it is equally complicated as it is obscured and legitimized by the corporate media. The incestuous relationship between the central bank, the political elites, and the leaders of industry (including media) make it easy to create a cohesive public narrative that is completely divorced from reality.
