There are ways to address that. Instead of whining all 'J'accuusse!!' Just vote down their idiot posts and make fun of them.

A core goal of shills is to derail the conversation. You need to not let them be a distraction - merely background noise.

Wrong. People being called shills were being called out deservedly so. And no, everyone was not being called a shill.

The "I'm a shill because I disagree" is a staple of their discourse which has no basis in reality whatsoever. I can't help it if they follow a playbook everyone recognizes. I call them like I see them, regardless of their point of view.
