Because the lion's share of the bitcoins out there are in the hands of the illuminati.

If the illuminati were scared of bitcoins, they would've destroyed it by now.

Research "NORFED" and "Liberty Dollars". NORFED minted gold, silver, and copper coins--$20 million dollars worth. The Feds cracked down on NORFED and its purveyors/users. The FED threatened 5 years of imprisonment from using these coins as legal tender.

I don't trust bitcoin. I think people should forge/mint their own 1 oz aluminum, copper or silver slugs and use them as legal tender. Anyone can build a mini-forge--create your own slugs. Strike it with a die and hammer. Money.

The Economist is a Rothschild publication.

Because the Illuminati is a meme to the elite, one they use (now) to discredit their worst enemies. Bitcoin represents a threat, so slap it with a spoopy 'luminati meme and let the problem solve itself.

Reddit's alien logo is an all-seeing eye right now. No idea when they changed it. Assuming its for Halloween, but still. Eye, not a pumpkin? Obviously because the staff knows what is assumed, but not public (i.e. you are being watched).

The thing about the elites is that they take a crisis and make it their own in order to subjugate. The black panther movement was a problem until the CIA stepped in and ruined their reputation with fake colouring books depicting hatred. Political parties and movements are routinely usurped.

In otherwords, Where the Soviet Union would forceably ban, americas way of doing things is to ruin that which threatens them or leverage it in a different way.

My guess is that bitcoin is the ultimate double edge sword to the powers that be - on the one hand they cant track the money, but on the other is creates a world without physical cash, which is also important especially in our current global economic situation. Governments around the world want to abolish cash - and bitcoin is a great intermediary to creating that mentality.

It goes a little something like this:

If you cant beat them, join them and destroy them from the inside.

This is by all likely-hood exactly what has happened. A good reason on why they push symbolism in the first place, people become normalised to it and go on to unknowingly promote a cause they might be completely against if they understood.

Good people with good intentions will do bad things when enough abstraction is in place.
