It's times like these I wish I knew someone with direct access to intel like this. I hate the sparse news reports. I read a few weeks ago UK was sending troops, but the article tried to imply it wasn't many, nor did it elaborate on the strategic significance of their deployment positions.

US recently increased number of marines in the pacific, but it was hard to figure out how many they added. I think it was 10k bringing the current numbers to 80k. That just seems like a lot of MARINES (vs navy and airforce) for an area we are not actively engaged in.

Could become a morale issue very fast. The American army is dealing with the highest suicide rate in the world. Syria would become far worse an instigator: there's no doubt this whole op is bs from the elitists.

That's because Russia's intervention is perfectly legal, defending an ally from an outside threat. The US intervention is perfectly illegal, so they've had to get creative. So unless the US starts blatantly disregarding international law, I think Russia is going to emerge victorious in Syria.

My money is on Russia too. This isn't a conventional war, it's a war by proxy. ATM Russia has a much better proxy army. A few dozen US forces on the ground isn't going to change that.

Now if the US is just putting these troops in harms war on purpose, looking for an excuse to start a war, even then, where are they going to fight it? How are they going to justify it? It would take some really creative false flagging to pull that one off in times like these.
