I don't think the US were the heroes of ww2, there were many heroes. Russia was one of them and to say they weren't is just wrong. They fought more than the US and yes the US helped but so did many countries, it was a collective effort, to say the US were the ww2 heroes and no one else is ridiculous. 10-30 million dead russians will would spit on your comment. I am not saying the Us never helped but to call them the heroes while denying the russia the brits and so many other countries is just total disrespect. The US lost the plot once they decide to wipe out 300000 japs with nukes, then they have the gaul to try and disarm other countries from having the same weapons when they are only ones to have ever used a nuke so they may be the first ones to use them again.
