WTF happened to the plane?

We've all read extensively about it....there is countless theories circulating...what does /v/Conspiracy think happened?

How about how the story has pretty much fallen out of the news?

There is this HUGE search, they find nothing, and forget about it!

There was also that story out of Afghanistan about a drone operating system that was captured by the 'Taliban' and was sold to the Chinese....apparently packed up on that plane. Maybe US didn't want them to have it , or, Chinese want the US to think they lost it.

I think your onto something fenixrism, I suspect the entire episode of the missing flight was to change the media topic to keep the 24/7 fear mongering cycle going, and to distract the independent media outlets gullible enough to follow the governments weekly propaganda cycle.

In terms of the plane itself it's important to recognize that a 777 offers range unavailable otherwise. A plane like that is very valuable and if you want one but don't want people to know you have it there are few options beyond a heist. I too expect this plane to turn up in some way down the road.
