That really demonstrates a poor understanding of what is going on. Terrorist attacks obviously result from oppression. Go look up the entire history of the fucking world and you'll see the clear and obvious answer. It's not mysterious or needing debate - it's a simple tactic typically used by those who are being actively oppressed who have few other options for fighting back. Terrorism is a power magnifier - the idea is to commit a relatively minor act (killing a dozen people) and have its impact be more similar to killing 12,000 (the equivalent to the oppression they are experiencing).

It's true that Israel and it's western partners are frequently responsible for that oppression, so in a roundabout way your assertion is correct, but it's right for the wrong reasons.

As for muslims, pretty sure all those IRA terrorists who spent decades fighting British oppression weren't muslims.
