The question isn't "what if"- Of course its being used for that purpose.

The real question I would ask anyone is what are YOU going to do when they take away the 2nd amendment?

I think the only reason people refuse to believe gun control is for disarming citizens in cause of revolution is because the propaganda is too thick. Too many people think the government is good. The U.S. government is full of fucking psychopaths. Bloodthirsty, warmongering, greedy, pedophiliac psychopaths.

Never gonna happen. At least tens of millions of Americans own guns. If disarmament ever happens it'll be the pretext to a civil war dominated by unconventional weapons and WMDs. Guns will be a way of life at least until the ammo runs out. Then we'll fight each other with swords, guitars, and catchy tunes in blue suede shoes.

Terror attacks have been doing multiple things for TPTB...

• Feeds the military industrial complex (more production and sales)
• Divides the people by religion and country
• Allows them to take away rights and liberties in the name of security
• Allows them to increase laws and regulations to gain more control

just to name a few...

They try, but it just makes people buy more guns and weapons in general and that much more hostile to the government.
